Don't fret. He will not have any part of this. He is here merely for audience and this is your human powers, nothing he can take now if you do not forbid it. Now, all you have to do is get to the top of this tower and you'll learn how to manifest a new power.

There were no steps or anything to climb. Dmitri would have to use his armor to reach the top however...

Oh? And your seer powers are forbidden in this place.

So Impio couldn't get involved in this place and his seer abilities had no effect in this domain, although this was still his own body. No stairs or ladders upon which to ascend. There had to be some trick to it, something he was not mentally acknowledging, but Dmitri's patience in conjunction with his curiosity was blocking the answer from his conscious thought.

But if his seer powers were of a spiritual origin, then why couldn't they be used in his own being? Nothing was holding him back, but the manifestation that impersonated his mother seemed truthful in her own words. This was his body, his mind, his soul, his world, and if he wanted something then he should simply grab for it. If he wanted to grab that crystal at the top, then just by reaching his hand out, he should be able to grasp it firmly. Just because his seer powers did not work here, did not mean his mental capabilities were useless either.

The crystal was in his hand, Dmitri passed the test, but why did it work the way it did?

Before you fill him in, the seer should realize that there are other resources that he can tap into besides the spiritual power within himself and my natural power to draw spirit energy from the atmosphere. As our level of spiritual power is now, there won't be many that could stand toe-to-toe with you one on one.

I already realized that, but I did not want to tap into 'that'. It's way too risky, and without assistance, I couldn't see myself using it. Now, can you explain what this test was all about? Dmitri asked of his mother.

Before realizing other abilities, you have to realize that your body, your mind, your spirit. Therefore, your rules, but only if you possess the will to make those rules. Whatever comes of this self-discovery, it will fall on your shoulders and it will up to you whether or not to carry it or let it fall.

I already knew that, so I went through that for nothing.

It's almost as if you have the mentality of a teenager. Think of it as a test to prepare you for further test.

A flight of steps going downwards opened up in the center of the floor which Dmitri's mother descended upon. Impio would go next, followed by Dmitri. As they descended, light became more and more scarce until it was nothing but pitch black and it almost felt as if he was floating in midair.
